Safety
Thou art my hiding place; thou shalt preserve me from trouble; Thou shalt compass me about with songs of deliverance. Selah.
The LORD will perfect that which concerneth me: Thy mercy, O LORD , endureth for ever: Forsake not the works of thine own hands.
Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.
Though an host should encamp against me, my heart shall not fear: Though war should rise against me, in this will I be confident.
Sing unto God, Sing praises to his name: Extol him that rideth upon the heavens By his name JAH, and rejoice before him. A father of the fatherless, and a judge of the widows, Is God in his holy habitation.
He only is my rock and my salvation; He is my defence; I shall not be greatly moved.
The LORD also will be a refuge for the oppressed, A refuge in times of trouble.
God is our refuge and strength, A very present help in trouble.
He that dwelleth in the secret place of the Most High Shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of the LORD , He is my refuge and my fortress: My God; in him will I trust.
He shall cover thee with his feathers, and under his wings shalt thou trust: His truth shall be thy shield and buckler.
The name of the LORD is a strong tower: The righteous runneth into it, and is safe.
Heal me, O LORD , and I shall be healed; save me, and I shall be saved: for thou art my praise.
I will both lay me down in peace, and sleep: For thou, LORD , only makest me dwell in safety.
Cast thy burden upon the LORD , and he shall sustain thee: He shall never suffer the righteous to be moved.
It is better to trust in the LORD Than to put confidence in man.
The LORD is good, a strong hold in the day of trouble; and he knoweth them that trust in him.
Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.
I pray not that thou shouldest take them out of the world, but that thou shouldest keep them from the evil.
For I have satiated the weary soul, and I have replenished every sorrowful soul.
A prudent man foreseeth the evil, and hideth himself; But the simple pass on, and are punished.
Therefore let us not sleep, as do others; but let us watch and be sober.
Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee: because he trusteth in thee.
Trust in the LORD , and do good; So shalt thou dwell in the land, and verily thou shalt be fed.
