Sickness
Hope deferred maketh the heart sick: But when the desire cometh, it is a tree of life.
He is despised and rejected of men; a man of sorrows, and acquainted with grief: and we hid as it were our faces from him; he was despised, and we esteemed him not.
and said, If thou wilt diligently hearken to the voice of the LORD thy God, and wilt do that which is right in his sight, and wilt give ear to his commandments, and keep all his statutes, I will put none of these diseases upon thee, which I have brought upon the Egyptians: for I am the LORD that healeth thee.
A merry heart doeth good like a medicine: But a broken spirit drieth the bones.
And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them, and be their God. And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.
and heal the sick that are therein, and say unto them, The kingdom of God is come nigh unto you.
Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, cast out devils: freely ye have received, freely give.
When I kept silence, my bones waxed old Through my roaring all the day long.
Heal me, O LORD , and I shall be healed; save me, and I shall be saved: for thou art my praise.
Surely he hath borne our griefs, and carried our sorrows: yet we did esteem him stricken, smitten of God, and afflicted.
The LORD openeth the eyes of the blind: The LORD raiseth them that are bowed down: The LORD loveth the righteous:
Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much.
Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth.
He healeth the broken in heart, And bindeth up their wounds.
And ye shall serve the LORD your God, and he shall bless thy bread, and thy water; and I will take sickness away from the midst of thee.
