Verse of the day

A fool's wrath is presently known: But a prudent man covereth shame.

Go and proclaim these words toward the north, and say, Return, thou backsliding Israel, saith the LORD ; and I will not cause mine anger to fall upon you: for I am merciful, saith the LORD , and I will not keep anger for ever.

It is an honour for a man to cease from strife: But every fool will be meddling.

Only by pride cometh contention: But with the well advised is wisdom.

Take heed, brethren, lest there be in any of you an evil heart of unbelief, in departing from the living God.

A fool uttereth all his mind: But a wise man keepeth it in till afterwards.
